Co-founded by former NYC-based power couple Billy Keohane, an award-winning hairstylist, and Lauren Keohane, a celebrated makeup artist whose work has graced the covers of top international fashion magazines. The space was built in partnership with Eden Salon, a fixture in Oklahoma City’s beauty scene for over 40 years.

Designed to support both artistry and advancement, The Garden OKC is rooted in a simple yet powerful mission: to foster expertise, spark creativity, and cultivate a collaborative, brand-neutral community that welcomes professionals at every stage of their career.

Our immersive, hands-on all-day classes, intensives, and trainings are led by globally recognized beauty educators, renowned hair artists, and salon industry innovators.

Our inaugural season begins in September 2025, featuring all-day classes, creative intensives, and guest artist residencies. Registration opens at the end of July, and space is limited.

About Our Creative Director, Billy Keohane

Billy Keohane is an award-winning hairstylist, global beauty educator, and the visionary force behind The Garden. A U.S. Navy veteran, Billy began cutting hair while deployed in Baghdad. Through support from the VA Vocational Rehabilitation program, he trained under the legendary Sassoon brand and went on to educate thousands of stylists across the country.

Billy’s work has been featured in Vogue and BlackBook, and he has earned several accolades, including Pixie of the Year. As a former leader of one of NYC’s most celebrated curly hair salons, Billy brings editorial edge, technical mastery, and mentorship-driven leadership to Oklahoma City’s creative community.
