Meet Billy Keohane, a globally recognized hairstylist, award-winning educator, and the Creative Director of The Garden located inside Eden Salon. With a career that began while serving as a U.S. Navy combat veteran, Billy found purpose behind the chair, cutting hair while deployed in Baghdad, and later transforming that calling into a world-class career. Through the support of the VA’s Vocational Rehabilitation program, he trained with the legendary Sassoon team and rose quickly in the beauty world, eventually leading one of New York City’s most respected salons specializing in curly hair.

William Keohane’s artistry has been featured in Vogue, BlackBook, and on stages across the country. He’s earned the prestigious title of Pixie of the Year, and educated thousands of stylists nationwide through his work as a Global Educator for Aveda, a division of Estée Lauder.

With a deep love for both technical mastery and creative expression, Billy co-founded The Garden, an advanced education and creative experience center for salon professionals. He now leads The Garden’s education program, curating world-class classes, mentoring fellow artists, and helping to cultivate the next generation of hair professionals.
